SWR Level of Service
All individual properties located within the Town of Southwest Ranches shall be required to meet a minimum Level of Service (LOS) for drainage and stormwater management (flood protection). The District will require that all property owners dedicate a Surface Water Management Area (SWMA) of not less than twenty percent (20%) of the property at elevation 5.00’ NGVD (3.50’ NAVD), or equivalent volume. This SWMA will be utilized for the storage of stormwater runoff. The property owner is not permitted to fill this SWMA or place any permanent improvements within said SWMA.
